Regional Feed Sales Manager

CHS Aligned Solutions is working with a large and expanding member cooperative in Wisconsin to hire a Regional Feed Sales Manager.  This is an outstanding opportunity for the right personality to not only motivate others but grow professionally within an organization.

Position Overview:
This position will manage the Feed Sales team in covering a region including Washington and Dodge Counties in Wisconsin.  This geography will include the Hartford and surrounding areas and our ideal candidate will reside in this area.  Reporting into the Vice President of Feed, this role will focus on coaching a sales team, learning and training of feed retail products and managing relationships with key producers and suppliers.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Mentor: Work with Feed Sales Staff to make recommendations for reaching sales goals.  Supervise and support of training and developing employees in products and selling success.
  • Hire: Make suggestions to hire and staff the sales team based upon needs.  Review job descriptions and work assignments to minimize unproductive costs.
  • Marketing:  Partner with Communications, Media, Marketing & Public Relations Manager in Feed advertising reviewing and evaluating marking campaigns, making recommendations for maximum effectiveness.
  • Sales Focus: Work with each sales employee to discuss sales goals and training on product knowledge to reach sales goals.
  • Customer Service: Uphold a high level of customer service by providing technical support for staff, growing relationships and partnering with vendors to provide the best options available.
 
Qualifications:
  • Certain times of the year will require longer hours and weekend time and questions may come outside of regular working hours. 
  • A clean driving record and ability to pass a background and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in sales and management with a preferred focus in livestock and feed nutrition. 
  • This position is designed to be an experienced-level career opportunity and previous sales experience is necessary for the success of this position.
