CHS Aligned Solutions is providing Selection Services to hire an Agronomy Location Manager with a large member cooperative in central Wisconsin.  This position is considered a mid-to-experienced level role and will report into the Director of Agronomy.  
 
Location Overview:
Be a part of a team where your contribution leads to a successful, profitable Agronomy Division that is known for customer service.  This Agronomy Branch is located near Tomah, Wisconsin and has a staff of up to 20 team members.
 
Position Overview:
The Agronomy Location Manager will be responsible for the managing the complete activities of the branch including supervising operations, administrative, purchasing, inventory, most of all, the team members.  Some responsibilities of this role include:
  • Utilize personnel, equipment and products in a resourceful, positive, and productive way.
  • Adjusting to and preparing for seasonal employment needs while coaching team members and working together to help them find their highest potential.  Perform performance reviews and merit reviews with each employee. 
  • Partner with the Director of Agronomy and Director of Sales in forecasting needs and preparing for various seasonal demands.
  • Establish and manage location budgets, profitability and sales goals. 
  • Ensure facilities and equipment are well maintained, organized and appropriate records are kept for both compliance and replacement schedules.
 
Our ideal candidate will be safety-focused with a high regard to customer service.  Previous agronomy experience is required.
 
Requirements
  • Must have agricultural knowledge, agronomy sales  
  • Previous management experience and preference of past agronomy sales
  • Must be a detail oriented, self-starter who has the ability to coach and motivate teams
